OCR iTQ Qualification

Torrens Training & IT Services can no longer offer OCR CLAiT because it is no longer possible to register candidates for this qualification. The recommended alternative is OCR iTQ in IT user skills.

iTQ stands for Information Technology Qualification and is accredited by the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) which is the new framework for vocational or work related qualifications. The credit based iTQ has a broader range of units than the original OCR CLAiT.

The ITQ (QCF) qualification is available at Levels 1, 2 and 3. Within each level, there is an Award, Certificate and Diploma option.

To achieve a full qualification in OCR iTQ there is a minimum credit requirement as indicated the table below:

It may be possible to use your existing OCR CLAiT qualifications as evidence for the new iTQ.
