CLAIT stands for Computer Literacy and Information Technology and is a nationally recognised course. If you pass a CLAIT course it shows employers you can use the main applications on a computer.

CLAiT is a package of three IT qualifications which provide a one-stop shop for learners looking to develop, improve or advance their IT skills.

OCR Level 1 Certificate/Diploma for IT Users (New CLAiT)

A foundation level qualification which enables you to get the basic computer skills you need in most jobs today.

OCR Level 2 Certificate/Diploma for IT Users (CLAiT Plus)

An intermediate level qualification which may be suitable for you if you've already got some experience and want to increase your IT productivity.

OCR Level 3 Certificate for IT Users (CLAiT Advanced)

An advanced qualification that may suit you if you’re already a confident IT user. It will enable you to mentor friends and colleagues.
